Over the past few years, I have been developing my business in Hertford and I have now reached a stage where I want to invest some time and money into a website to show others what it is I do at JM Sports Massage.
I think that sports massage can mean many different things to different people and I wanted to be able to create a space where the term ‘sports massage’ is understood but also you can find out quickly if it would be suited to you.
With the assistance of Cariad Marketing, and a special mention to James who has been more than accommodating to last-minute tweaks and late night emails, I now believe I have achieved this.
My main aim is to reduce stress and pain. Some patients shuffle in, unable to sit down or put their socks on. But pain doesn’t always have to be at this level and I like to aid those, even if it’s just a little niggle between your shoulder blades, the headache that never seems to truly shift or the ache in your knee that comes and goes with no real explanation. All of this can affect our daily lives, sleep can be reduced and moods can alter. One thing I don’t accept is to just be in pain for the rest of your life.
I will also be using this blog, alongside social media, to upload videos or demonstrate exercises and stretches that can help with many common issues.
I have been happily pushing ahead with my business full-time for the past two-and-a-half years, and I have learnt a great deal during this time and feel blessed to be pursuing my passion. I love many sports and activities. I train regularly at a local studio, FitBox. I run a few times a week and walk the dog every day. Activity is part of my life, as it gives me the energy to work hard and stay focused. Due to my own back, neck and shoulder problems, I receive treatment regularly from fellow Sports Massage Therapist or Osteopaths, so I understand well what it’s like to be in pain and keep up a treatment plan.
I have now moved to Liverpool, the start of a new journey! Business is still as usual so don’t hesitate to get in touch.
